I also echo Jason's sentiments. My thanks go to all the speakers and session chaipersons who kept the day running smoothly and on-time. I also think that Al Hunt made a tremendous "sargeant-at-arms" when it came to marshalling conference delegates at the end of the session breaks!

Special thanks go to members of the conference-organising committee: Toby Lambert, Michael Murray, Stefan Rose, Alison Hunt, Paul Burcher, Deryk Engel and Amy Rowles. It usually takes about 9-10 months to organise a conference and it is terrific that we have dedicated ECA members who are prepared to devote some of their valuable time to ensure that our conferences are enjoyable, informative and run professionally. Well done everyone!

Just wanted to say well done to the ECA Council for another highly informative conference. Good venue, great food, and most of all, highly relevant information to our industry and biodiversity management.

I picked up a lot of information I will be adding to my reports, and keeping in mind when preparing assessments. The talks on the implications of climate change on biodiversity conservation and management were particularly outstanding (if not a tad alarming!), especially in regards to the urgent need to consider management in a landscape context to maintain the potential for flora and fauna to cope with the sudden environmental changes.

Overall, another unmissable conference. Thanks again for providing the essential on-going professional development we've come to enjoy being a member of the ECA.
