There are a number of good instructional videos on youtube, put together by professional botanists, which show you how to make an effective plant press and advise what materials you should use.

Hi Kath, I would recommend making one. I've seen a mobile plant press which had been purchased and it still looked quite heavy. The only way to ensure you are getting exactly what you need is to make one! You can just cut up a piece of thin wood to size and buy some straps which click together. All of this is available from Bunnings. All you need then is some cardboard and paper. You can also attach a strap for carrying.

Can anyone recommend a supplier for a nice mobile, fairly light weight plant press? We're in desperate need and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
