Q: What is the releavance of this book? As Ecolgical Consultants are in the business of addressing environmental impact, any claim against them likely will fall under the broad heading of Pollution Law in Australia. Hence, a "Pollution" exclusion appearing in Professional Indemnity Insurance policy may likely provide an insurance claims manager the excuse to argue or deny liability under their policy.

On review of environmental laws pertaining to environmental practices, Zada Lipman and Dr Gerry Bates have written an amazingly thorough expose "Pollution Law in Australia". The book is recognised with a paradoxical picture of a fish swimming with a gas mask over it's face and gills! Latest edition was 2002. Available through Lexis Nexis @ $173.00. The book contains plenty of case law pertainng to relevent ecological incidents. Though provoking and valuable.
